It started with a foster who never left
I'm Sonal. I have two Aussies — Millie, a white Australian Shepherd, and Lucy, a brown Aussie — both are my forever dogs. Then there was Tucker, a golden/Duck Tolling Retriever who came to me as a foster through a rescue. I adopted him — we just hadn't finalized the paperwork yet.
When I lost Tucker, it broke something in me. The existing pet recovery tech was either too expensive for rescues or too unreliable in the areas where dogs actually go missing — rural roads, dense woods, places with no cell signal.
And then there's Daisy — a Great Pyrenees we fostered while she was pregnant. Our friend Chas drove her to us in the middle of the night.
Daisy had her puppies in our living room. Every one of them found a home through the rescue. That experience cemented it — rescue organizations need affordable tools to protect the animals in their care. That's why I built PavaFetch.
